This was a three-hour webinar where the leading experts of the Ministry of Health told the doctors of public hospitals the world's best practices in the treatment of COVID-19 and some details when operating the latest models of ventilators. They need our support: the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation delivered COVID-19 tests for ambulance crews
According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, more than 3,800 medical workers have become ill with COVID-19 so far. This is a fifth part of the total number of all infected. Emergency physicians, who are often the first to come into contact with the infected, are the vulnerable. Therefore, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation purchased and transferred 20,000 COVID-19 rapid tests to seven emergency medical care regional centers. In the light of this, about 10,000 people are able to undergo testing in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Zhytomyr and Rivne Oblasts. READ MORE |

The Rinat Akhmetov Foundation transfers equipment to detect coronavirus to medical workers of Mariupol
The Mariupol branch of the Donetsk Regional Laboratory Centre of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine received QuantStudio™5 complete with SARS-CoV-2 onestep RT-PCR, CE-IVD and E Series 120 cm biosafety box, MSC-IIA-E120, Metisafe. This equipment will allow doctors to qualitatively determine COVID-19, which causes severe complications, in laboratory conditions. Rinat Akhmetov passes on another 50 000 rapid tests to Donetsk Region to detect COVID-19
Today, on 13 April, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation and Chief Executive in charge of urban development at Metinvest Holding, the SCM representative at the Regional Headquarters combating coronavirus, Oleksandr Vyshniakov, sent another 50,000 rapid tests to detect COVID-19 to Donetsk Region.
