In 2014-2015 at the initiative of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center 250 Ukrainian psychologists were trained in the "War Trauma" course. They were provided with master classes from the best experts of the world.
The psychologists of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center worked in 11 regions of Ukraine. They helped in kindergartens and schools, public institutions, hospitals, shelters and specialized psychological centres. Psychological support was provided to 49,000 children and 6,000 adults.
The Humanitarian Center completed an active phase of the project, but it will continue providing methodological support to psychologists by conducting trainings to improve their qualification. Two psychologists continue working directly within Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. Their goal is providing psychological support and rehabilitation in extremely difficult, emergency cases.
