The schedule of mobile teams' trips in August: food will be delivered to 51 settlements

In August the mobile teams of the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center will visit 51 settlements in the "grey zone". These are villages and settlements in the frontline area that suffered from hostilities the most – stores and pharmacies are not working there, they have constant problems with electricity, connection and water supply. During three years the Humanitarian Center has been continuously helping the most vulnerable categories of the population, i.e. elderly and disabled people, children and large families. READ MORE

«Healthy Heart»: how to be provided with a surgery?

Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center continues helping children with heart defect. A small device, an occluder, is an implant that relieves a child of a heart defect is put in through a small incision on a child's body. Unlike an abdominal operation, it gives children an opportunity to recover fast after the surgery and start living full life. READ MORE

Injured children of Donbas are provided with rehabilitation courses

According to UNICEF reports, 70 children were killed and 222 children got injuries of different severity due to the armed conflict in Donbas. However, experts believe that these data may be underestimated. In March 2015 Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center launched a new project called "Rehabilitation of Injured Children", which was aimed at helping children with severe injuries – from shrapnel wounds and concussions to the loss of limbs. Over the entire project implementation period 70 boys and girls got help to recover their health and get back to normal life. READ MORE

«There are no borders for friendship!» — the results of the first shift of «Peaceful Summer for Donbas Children» project

July 22 marked the end of the first shift of "Peaceful Summer for Donbas Children" project of the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. 200 boys and girls, living in non-government-controlled areas of Donbas and on the contact line, had a good rest in Sviatohirsk summer camp "Soniachnyi" in Donetsk region.
