Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center keeps helping with rehabilitation of injured children

In April three injured children, who had been wounded during hostilities in Donbas, went through a treatment course as part of "Rehabilitation of Injured Children" project of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center. Now the children who faced the horrors of war are staying in "Velykyi Luh" health resort in Zaporizhia region, which is located right on the Dnipro River. The Center's employees note that the health resort has not only favourable conditions for rehabilitation of injured children, but also highly qualified staff members, who will provide the necessary assistance in the recovery. In May the mobile teams will take trips to 45 settlements. Schedule of visits

In May 2017 the mobile teams of Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center will visit 45 settlements. Volunteers will deliver and issue 10,600 food packages. The humanitarian aid is aimed at the most vulnerable categories of civilian population: elderly and disabled people, single parents, families with many children. READ MORE

Orphaned children took a tour to the largest enterprise of Ukraine

On April 26 and 27 the wards from 'Emerald City', a centre for social rehabilitation of orphaned children in Sviatohirsk, took a tour to Druzhkivka Machine Building Plant, which is the largest producer of mining equipment in the CIS. A year of «Mentorship» project: achievements and goals

On April 19 Kyiv hosted a report meeting of the Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center dedicated to its performance results for 2016. The witnesses of the Center's work told how civilian population survives in the armed conflict areas and what role is played by humanitarian mission of Rinat Akhmetov. The report included testimonies of volunteers, the Humanitarian Center's employees, journalists, injured children and their relatives, sociologists and other direct eyewitnesses of the tragedy in Donbas.
