For two years running the Corporate Foundation for Development of Ukraine has held a charity action on the International Children’s Day. The goal of the charity action is to collect cash funds for the children with tuberculosis and to buy toys, drawing books, balls, infant’s food, fruits, juices, sweets, diapers and other necessary things. The action is held within the framework of SCM Group.
This year the aid was provided to two recipients: Children’s Department of Donetsk Oblast Tuberculosis Clinical Hospital and Children's Specialized Health Centre "Barvinok", Boyarka, Kyiv region. There are about 200 children at the age from 1 to 16 at these health care facilities now and most of them don’t have parents.
On the holiday day the Foundation arranged visits to the sick children to hand over presents and bring a holiday mood.
The International Children’s Day will live in the memory of little patients of the Donetsk Hospital because of a merry clown and a giant doll with their entertainment program. The kids were happy to participate together in funny contests and races and get funny prizes. When parting, all the kids were given balloons and sweets to remember the meeting. 
Of course it’s wonderful to get presents but the most important is that children could feel so much warmth and care that day. Their eyes were sparkling with joy when they were listening to congratulations and words of encouragement.
