Foundation for Development of Ukraine (within the framework of "Ukraina Professionalnaya" Project [Professional Ukraine Project]) and All-Ukrainian Internet Project "Educational Portal" are starting a joint social project "Professional career guidance" (www.profosvita.org.ua), aimed at guiding modern youth towards a conscious choice of future job. 
 
Internet project "Professional career guidance" is aimed at school students (school graduates) and their parents, students, teachers and methodologists. The key goal of the project is to help the youth make the right career choice depending on their individual psychological abilities and gifts, and show them the real situation with lack of professional staff at the market of Ukraine.
 
The project is aimed at:
•         helping the users make the right choice of a future job;
•         proving that vocational and technical jobs can be as successful as prestigious higher education;
•         showing an inseparable link between the desired job and the required education;
•         defining the tendencies of labor market development in different regions of Ukraine; 
•         describing the specifics of different jobs;
•         changing the negative image of "non-prestigious"  jobs;
•         providing the users with the necessary contact information of state and private organizations dealing with issues of professional career guidance and employment assistance.
 
As of today the website has reviews and analytical articles about education and professional career guidance in Ukraine. The users can also take an interactive test on the site to find out their abilities and gifts.
 
For the purpose of project development we are cooperating with the authors-specialists who write reviews and analytical materials. It’s also possible to place previously published but still important materials and create interactive tests based on authors’ ideas. Within the framework of the project it’s possible to promote career advice actions.
