Dear countrymen!
 
Early Sunday brought tragic news: explosion at Zasyadko mine killed people, some were taken to hospital. Many miners are still trapped inside the mine. We all hope for miracle and believe our countrymen will be rescued.
 
I extend my deepest condolences to families of explosion victims over this deadliest mine accident.
 
I direct my words of hope and belief to the families of missing miners.
 
I want to assure that we will provide support to every family hit by the accident. Today FC Shakhtar and Foundation for Development of Ukraine have made a decision to allocate UAH 10m to the explosion victims.  
 
We mourn the dead and hope for rescue of trapped and hospitalized miners.

Press Service of Foundation for Development of Ukraine informs that the Coordinating Council has been formed to deal with the families of victims. The Council will start working tomorrow at the place of tragedy.
