SCM’s Corporate Foundation for Development of Ukraine is holding a campaign “Developing country: studying history – making history” in support of the Year of the Ukrainian Book.
 

The event is backed by the Department of Education and Science of Donetsk Regional State Administration and covers a thousand of secondary schools in Donetsk Region.

 
The Foundation for Development of Ukraine together with Den newspaper will grant books about Ukrainian history of Den Newspaper Library Series to school libraries. They feature exciting stories about several centuries in life of our ancestors from the Scythian times to dramas and developments in 20th century.

 
The Foundation will also present the following books at a meeting of chiefs of education offices in the Department of Education and Science:
Ukraine Incognita
Two Rus Lands
Wars and Peace

 
The books are primarily meant for teachers since their articles are regarded as a source of additional information for the current history manuals.

The event will be attended by

The book presentation under “Developing Country: Studying History – Making History” Campaign will take place on 22 November at 10:30 at the regional department of education and science in 129a, Artyoma str., Donetsk
