On 14 March 2011, 11:30, the UNIAN news agency, Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine and FC Shakhtar represented by football player Dmytro Chygrynskiy will present a public service video Say No to Orphanhood!. The video targets to draw public attention to one of the most burning problems of Ukraine. The social information campaign will become another stage in the systematic partnership of the Foundation and the Club which was announced last September.

The participants of the press-conference are the following:
- Anatoliy Zabolotny, Director of the Foundation for Development of Ukraine
- Sergey Palkin, FC Shakhtar CEO
- Darya Kasyanova, Programme and Project Manager of Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development for Ukraine
- Dmytro Chygrynskiy, FC Shakhtar player
- Yevgeniya Tkachenko, President, Magnoliya NGO
- Oleksiy Semenov, Chief Producer of the First National TV Channel.

The event will present the animation video featuring FC Shakhtar players Andrey Pyatov and Dmytro Chygrynskiy. The conference participants will answer the questions concerning the existing orphanage system, need to form public opinion and convey the main message – Each Child Needs a Family. 

Everyone is welcome to take part in the conference that will take place on 14 March 2011 from 11:30 to 12:30 in the premises of the UNIAN news agency.

The Foundation for Development of Ukraine is implementing an all-Ukrainian project aimed at promotion of foster care and family building. Thanks to the web-site http://sirotstvy.net/ua/, 1475 children have already found their fathers and mothers, 4 family type foster homes have been set up, the legal basis is being reformed, the campaign This Child Needs a Family is being carried out. Since 2009, FC Shakhtar has joined the Foundation in this activity. In December 2009, a friendly game between FC Shakhtar and FC Illichevets took place under support of FC Shakhtar. The funds raised from the ticket sale were spent to fight orphanhood in Ukraine. Besides, the inmates of Donetsk Oblast orphanage schools have the opportunity to attend all home matches of their favourite club. In September 2010 FC Shakhtar player Rustam Khudzhamov and his wife adopted a child from one of Ukrainian orphanage schools.
