Contest subject: organizing and preparing strategic planning in combating TB in pilot regions of Donetsk

Requirements to the description of provided services:

The following services are supposed to be provided:
1. developing tools for a situation analysis;
2. organizing and preparing a TB situation analysis in pilot regions;
3. preparing situation analysis reports in pilot regions;
4. developing the program and contents for strategic planning trainings;
5. holding strategic planning trainings;
6. prepared strategic plans on combating TB in the regions;

Project location: Donetsk Oblast.

Pilot regions:
1. Donetsk City
2. Mariupol City, Novoazovsky, Volodarsky and Pervomaisky regions
3. Gorlovka City

In the future it is supposed to involve other regions of Donetsk Oblast into TB strategic planning process.

Requirements to the contest application form:

The following compulsory sections shall be completed in the application:
• Title page;
• Information about the company;
• Project description with time schedule (including by stages);
• Feasible budget in details specifying the stages and types of works (in UAH)

Each application shall have the following documents attached:
1. your Company’s profile (appendix 1)
2. your Company’s notarized articles of association with all the changes and amendments;
3. notarized certificate of state registration;
4. notarized certificate of record in the Unified State Register of Companies.

A candidate can attach other documents proving his ability to implement the project (letters of support, publications, etc.)

The application shall be sent by mail or delivered by hand (1 copy, in Russian or Ukrainian), to the office of the

Foundation for Development of Ukraine.

Deadline: February 05, 2008, until 18.00.

Project implementation period:

Commencement – from the moment of contract execution; end -  December 15, 2008.

Contest procedure:

The selection committee and the contest committee founded by the Foundation for Development of Ukraine shall have the authority to consider the applications and the attached documents.  

Selection criteria for winners:
1. project detailed development;
2. budget feasibility and justifiability;
3. experience in strategic planning projects
4. experience in working with state and municipal authorities in Donetsk Oblast

The contest results will be posted on the websites of the Foundation for Development of Ukraine: www.fdu.org.ua и www.stoptb.in.ua

The contest winner will be notified by registered mail not later than the next day following the day of execution of the protocol on contest results.
