Volunteers – the Workers of Metinvest Group – are Engaged in a Humanitarian Mission in Mariupol

Product packages will be issued to the resettled in the point of issue of humanitarian aid in Mariupol at the initiative of Metinvest Group. It was announced on August 13 during the first offsite meeting on the issues of operation of volunteer teams of Metallurgy Complex named after Illich and Metallurgy Complex Azovstal of Metinvest Group as well as Mariupol Machinery and Repair Plant within the framework of initiation of activity of Humanitarian Centre of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.

Over 3500 resettled from Donetsk, Gorlovka, Shakhtarsk and other cities of active war actions are registered in Mariupol. Among them there are about 1.3 thousand of unemployed mothers with children, the disabled and pensioners. These people found themselves in hard life circumstances and they need primary material assistance.

From August 14 The points of issue of humanitarian aid, which supply food stuff to most vulnerable groups in society, start working in Mariupol. Product packages will be issued by volunteers – the workers of Metallurgy Complex named after Illich and Metallurgy Complex Azovstal of Metinvest Group as well as Mariupol Machinery and Repair Plant.

The points of issue of humanitarian aid within the framework of activity of the Humanitarian Centre of Rinat Akhmetov Foundation will be located in Mariupol district centres of social services for family, children and youth at the addresses:

1. Illichevskiy District Centre of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, 1 Levchenka Street

2. Ordzhonikidzevskiy District Centre of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, 40 Ryzkyy Lane

3. Prymorskiy District Centre of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, 85a Budivelnykiv Lane

4. Zhovtnevyy District Centre of Social Services for Family, Children and Youth, 24a B. Khmelnytskogo Street
