My dear friends and fellow countrymen!

What happened today in Luhansk was a devastating human tragedy. It swept off human lives, injured dozens of people and burst in many houses causing grief and sorrow.

There are no words to express our deepest condolences that everyone is feeling now and sending to you.

At such times, we can think only of one thing: how to stop death and bring back health to the people, our fellow countrymen, your relatives affected by the tragedy. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Following the tragic explosion in Luhansk hospital No.7, my Foundation for Development of Ukraine undertakes to do the following:

take care of every survivor and every bereaved family.

provide help, including financial assistance, to every underage child whose parents suffered in the explosion.

undertake partial responsibility for buying modern equipment for three hospital departments most damaged by the explosion following discussions about the required help with the hospital managers and city authorities.

First of all, we allocate for this purpose the amount of UAH 1 million, which can be changed as soon as we understand the entire scale of the loss and damage.

I am convinced that at such times we all, more than ever, must feel like a family. The explosion that happened caused a terrible grief, which no words can heal. But our human support and sympathy at such times are needed. We must help everyone to bear the burden of this ordeal and become stronger together.
