Media Transparency in Ukraine
Anastasia Grynko is a postgraduate student of NaUKMA PhD programme in mass communications and a teacher at the Mohyla School of Journalism. She presented the study of the Ukrainian media transparency at NCA 95th Annual Convention, http://www.natcom.org/index.asp?bid=11011 ).
NCA 95th Annual Convention took place in Chicago on 11-15 November 2009 and brought together over 4,000 scholars, researchers, teachers and practitioners in media, communications and public relations. The event was organized by the National Communication Association, one of the biggest USA organizations in communications.
Anastasia Grynko spoke in session "Media practices around the world": developing a global understanding of media transparency” attended by the researchers studying media transparency and ethical issues of media and public relations in the USA, Russia, China and other countries: Dr. Dean Kruckeberg (Professor of Communication Studies and Director of the Center for Global Public Relations at the University of North Carolina), Dr. Katerina Tsetsura (School of Journalism of the University of Oklahoma) and Anna Klyueva (Phd student, the University of Oklahoma).
The Programme of International Mobility is financed by Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine”. The PhD programme in mass communications at Mohyla School of Journalism is a joint project of NaUKMA and Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine.
