On February 29th a representative of the Foundation for Development of Ukraine Victoria Mykolayuk participated in celebrations of the 15th anniversary of the Local Children’s Hospital in Lviv. “Center of mini-invasion surgical operations on children with urological pathologies” is operating on the basis of the Hospital; the center is the only one of the kind in Western Ukraine. On the occasion of the anniversary the Foundation presented the Center with the state-of-the-art equipment – anesthetic station and display monitors.

The equipment will be mostly used for anesthetic management during operations of patients of the center and for neurosurgical operations with the use of neurofiberscope including for newborn children. This will help to make the most advanced types of surgical operations.

To the words pf Volodymyr Relin, Deputy of Anesthetic Department, some equipment provided by the Foundation has been already used during an operation. Foundation for Development of Ukraine hopes that with the help of new equipment the hospital will be able to provide qualitative help to many little patients.
