An individual self-boiler house built by Makeyevka City Council (contribution of UAH 200,000) and Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine (contribution of UAH 112,000) at Ptashenya children’s home will be launched on 10 October, 2008. The construction was initiated by Rinat Akhmetov on 19 December 2007, following a request of the children’s home staff.

The home hosts orphans and children deprived of parental care aged under five. It was opened on 1 June, 2006 and can take 50 children. Currently 39 children stay in the home.

The grand launch of the boiler house will take place at 10:30 in Makeyevka: 7 Tsemesskaya Str., Chervonogvardeysky district, Ptashenya children’s home.
