Announcement on the competition to select the medical equipment supplier for the PET Center with a laboratory to produce radiopharmaceutical preparations at Donetsk Province Clinical Territorial Medical Association (Donetsk, Ukraine) and a set of equipment for the combined positron emission tomography and computed tomography system for oncology applications for the National Institute of Cancer State Institution (Kyiv, Ukraine)

1. Customer for the Competition:

4. Subject of this Competition is selection of the company to offer such conditions of medical equipment procurement as to best suit the Customer for the Competition.
Information on the goods to be purchased:
Goods to be purchased are pieces of medical equipment for:
4.1. PET Center at Donetsk Province Clinical Territorial Medical Association (Donetsk, Ukraine), namely:
4.1.1. positron emission tomography equipment;
4.1.2.computed tomograph (CT) – 1 unit;
4.1.2. equipment for the laboratory to produce radiopharmaceutical preparations;
4.1.3. software with computer hardware (at least 2 workstations);
4.1.4. necessary support equipment;
4.1.5. other medical equipment which in the Bidder's opinion is advisable for the PET Center at Donetsk Province Clinical Territorial Medical Association (Donetsk, Ukraine).
4.2. National Institute of Cancer State Institution (Kyiv, Ukraine), namely:
4.2.1. positron emission tomography equipment;
4.2.2. computed tomograph (CT) – 1 unit;;
4.2.3. software with computer hardware (at least 2 workstations);
4.2.4. necessary support equipment;;
4.2.5. other medical equipment which in the Bidder's opinion is advisable for the National Institute of Cancer State Institution (Kyiv, Ukraine).

5. Competition procedure: closed bidding competition.
 

6. Bid preparation:
6.1. Bids shall be prepared in accordance with the competition documentation.
6.2. Bidders can receive the competition documentation in persoin at the Cutomer's address, by e-mail, or by courier mail.
6.3. The bid shall include offers for the PET Center at Donetsk Province Clinical Territorial Medical Association (Donetsk, Ukraine) and/or National Institute of Cancer State Institution.

7. Bid submission terms:
7.1. Method: delivery in person or by courier mail.
7.2. Any Bidder shall prepare and submit 1 (one) bid.
7.3. Participation in the Competition shall be free of charge for all Bidders.

8. Bid delivery place and deadline: at the Customer's address (29-Г Yaroslaviv Val St., Kyiv, Ukraine 01034), before 15:00 (Kyiv time), August 18, 2008. Contact person: Viktoria Mykolayuk, tel. (+380 50) 442 85 80.

9. Opening of bif proposals and their presentation by Bidders:
9.1. Opening place: at 29-Г Yaroslaviv Val St., Kyiv, Ukraine 01034, or another location to be additionally notified in a timely manner.
9.2. Opening time: 17:00 (Kyiv time), August 18, 2008.
9.3. Presentation of bids shall be made by Bidders, and bids shall be considered by the Competition Committee, on August 20 at 10:00 (Kyiv time) at the following address: 53 B. Kmelnytskoho St., Kyiv, Ukraine 01054 (Conference Room of Opera Hotel).

10. Selection of the winner in the Competition:
10.1. The winner of this Competition will be selected by the Customer's authorized body based on the results of the Competition Committee's activities before August 21, 2008.
10.2. The Customer shall enter into a contract for the procurement of the items to be purchased with the winner of the Competition.
10.3. The Customer shall communicate the results of the Competition by placing a respective message within its official site on the Internet: www.fdu.org.ua
