Today the Armed Forces have provided three helicopters to deliver food to hard-to-reach villages of Verkhovinsk District. This helped deliver food this morning to another nine local villages (Topilche, Dzembronya, Berezhnitse, Holove, Zarechye, Verkhniy Yasenev, Stebli, Dovhopole, Bystrets, Zelenoye). Over 5,000 citizens stayed there without drinking water and food.

Food is to be supplied today to other settlements where roads had been destructed by the disaster. The number of cut-off villages in the area totals 38. We remind that the Foundation for Development of Ukraine bought 7,000 food kits for the amount of UAH 280,000. Yesterday 2,957 residents of 5 villages (Yablunitse, Holoshine, Probiyne, Shibene, Hramotne) received aid.

The Foundation for Development of Ukraine will help other flood-hit districts of Ivano-Frankovsk, in particular Tlymatsk, Halytsk, Snyatynsk, Tismenitsk, and Kolomiysk left without fresh water. Special water filters will be bought for them.
