The first helicopters have delivered food to three settlements of Verkhovinsk district, representative of the Foundation working in Ivano-Frankovsk reports. Two women with newly-borns were evacuated by air from Yablunitsa village of Verkhovynsk district where no road transportation is available. Another two citizens of the same village were evacuated by helicopter because of their health problems.

Being aware of the problem with helicopters, Ukrainian Armed Forces have provided additional aircrafts to deliver food to people in cut off areas. Hard-to-reach areas of Verkhovynsk district are expected to receive food by air today. The Foundation for Development of Ukraine will buy new food kits for citizens of Sniatin and Kosovo districts tomorrow.
