The Independence Square hosted World of Talents – World of the Nation concert on 1 June dedicated to the Children's Day. The event was organized by the Foundation for Development of Ukraine and International NGO "3rd Millennium Woman", and supported by the Ministry of Family, Youth, and Sport, as well as the chief administration of family, youth, and sport of Kiev.  The concert was designed to make a memorable celebration for children and bring together children from all Ukrainian regions.

Director of the Foundation Anatoliy Zabolotny addressed all people on Maidan, TV-audience, and all children of Ukraine with a welcome speech: "The future is being made today, here and now. The future is created by every day work. Because we all want to live in a successful country and be happy. For this reason, the president of the Foundation Rinat Akhmetov set the goal to support children, parents, and teachers to ensure a really happy childhood for children and make the future really attractive for parents not to be afraid to let their kids in it. That's why we support large families, new forms of education, and children facilities. That's why the future is being made today, here and now. On behalf of the President of the Foundation Rinat Akhmetov, I would like to congratulate each of you here and everybody watching us, as well as the whole country. I congratulate you, Ukraine!"

Along with children creative collectives and Ukrainian stars, the concert also featured performances of family-type children's homes and orphanages patronized by the Foundation under its program Foster Core Promotion and Family Building. Children came with their supervisors from Luhansk, Transcarpathian, Donetsk, and Crimea regions. They lived near Kiev at health improvement center in Puscha-Vodytsia for five days before the concert. Professional performing artists and choreographers worked with young talents to stage good dances and songs. Also, the children had a very interesting tour agenda – a visit to National Museum of Architecture and Rural Life in Pirogovo Village, and the Kiev Zoo.

The children invited by the Foundation for Development of Ukraine had the honour to go to the stage first and sing the festival anthem. Also, a folk ensemble of Ukrainskiy family from Yenakiyevo Town that established a family-type home made a performance on the big stage. Yekaterina Malina from Sverdlovsk orphanage (Luhansk Region) sang in duet with Yuriy Nikitin.
