Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine has bought 14 houses for large families with over 10 underage children under project “Warming a Child with Love“ realized jointly by businesses and local government. In fact, the Foundation patronizes 44 families from the Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, and the Transcarpathian regions. Memorandums on Cooperation and Interaction have been previously signed with regional state administrations.

Ten families from the Transcarpathian region (Mukachevo, Irshavsk, Tyachivsk, Rakhovsk, Volovetsk, and Perchinsk areas); two families from Mariupol and Dokuchayevsk (Donetsk Region); one family from Antratsit (Luhansk region); as well as a family from the Crimea (Kerch) have received new houses so far.

The Foundation for Development of Ukraine bought a house for a large Kuzmenko family with 12 children. The total house area is 296.6 sq.m. The Golikov family living in Dokuchayevsk and bringing up 12 children has also received a house of 287 sq.m.

A house with the total area of 294.6 sq.m. and a land lot of 0.06 hectares was purchased for a large family of Turlyuns with 11 underage children in Kerch.

To buy new houses as well as complete or overhaul old room, the Foundation spent UAH 1.997m in the Crimea (6 large families); UAH 6m in Donetsk Region (9 families in need and 21 large families totally); UAH 4.337m in the Transcarpathian Region (17 families); and UAH 2.55m in Luhansk Region (12 families). The total project budget amounts to around UAH 15m.
