 SCM’s Corporate Foundation for the Development of Ukraine and DTEK Award 10 Best Students of EERC Master’s Programme

 

SCM Group and Donbass Fuel and Energy Company awarded 10 best students of Master’s Programme in Economics of Economic Education and Research Consortium (EERC) at the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (NaUKMA).

The EERC Master’s Programme is one of such projects. By financing it, we make our contribution to the development of Ukraine", - said Mr. Jock Mendoza-Wilson, Board Member of the Foundation for the Development of Ukraine and Director of SCM’s Corporate Communications Department. "Development of Ukrainian education is one of three priorities of the SCM’s Corporate Foundation. The Foundation is implementing a wide-ranging programme Contemporary Education and our participation in the Consortium is a part of it".

Within the Contemporary Education programme, the Corporate Foundation supports long-term projects aimed to introduce comprehensive changes into Ukrainian education system.

Also, the ceremony included rewarding the best student Alexandr Litvin with a laptop computer on behalf of Donbass Fuel and Energy Company, which manages the energy business of SCM Group.

The Corporate Foundation for Development of Ukraine is an NPO established by SCM Group on 15 July 2005. The Foundation’s budget comes from funds provided by System Capital Management. Priority projects of Foundation include the programmes Contemporary Education, Health of the Nation, and Cultural Heritage.
The projects of the Foundation for the Development of Ukraine are being implemented in seven regions of Ukraine (Kiev, Lvov, Zakarpatska, Kharkov, Lugansk, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk Regions) and in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
