Medications for Children
October 6, 2015 – Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center has launched a new project "Medications for Children", according to which such pharmaceuticals as test strips, anticonvulsants and asthma medications are provided to all children under 14, living in non-government-controlled areas of Donbas. Each Donbas child can get these essential medications for three months ahead. Rinat Akhmetov Humanitarian Center is planning to help up to 1,000 severely ill children by providing them with pharmaceuticals.
What diseases are the medications provided for?
- diabetes mellitus
- bronchial asthma
- convulsive disorder and epileptic syndrome with the following diagnoses:
- epilepsy (of any form)
- cerebral palsy
- traumatic brain injuries and their consequences
- central nervous system injuries
- encephalitides and meningitides (and their forms)
- infections (of any form)
- brain tumors
from 0 to 35 months old
