Steps to Adoption
Step 1
If you want to adopt a child, you should submit an appropriate application to your local Department for Children Affairs.

Step 2
Within 10 working days, the Department for Children Affairs inspects the living conditions and makes a conclusion on your ability to adopt a child.

Step 3
Within 10 working days, the Department for Children Affairs will consider your application and issue a consent for you to be registered as candidates for adoption.

Step 4
You get familiar with the database of children that can be adopted.

Step 5
The local Department for Children Affairs will submit an assignment for a particular child to the children institution for you to meet and establish contact with the child.

Step 6
Once the contact is established, you will submit an adoption application to the Department for Children Affairs at the place of the child's residence.

Step 7
Within 10 working days, the Department for Children Affairs at the place of the child's residence will report whether adoption is advisable.

Step 8
Court session about adoption.

Step 9
The child becomes member of your family.
