Project profile: The project includes an information web-page at the UNIAN website (http://health.unian.net), as well as an e-version disseminated free of charge. The sections of the source cover international, Ukrainian and regional medical news, statistics, research results, issue-related columns, useful information, links, recommendations and announcements. The information is updated on a real time basis. The newsletter is issued daily; the average visit statistics is over 6,000 people per day. The interest to the resource is growing among experts. Materials of this Internet portal are a popular subject for discussion and may evolve into stand-alone projects and researches.

Goal of the project:
To provide access to the latest news in health and medicine; unite doctors seeking self-education and self-organization; and promote careful attitude to health.

Consumers: mass media, NGOs working in health care area, medical universities, the Ukrainian Ministry of Public Health, health care departments of Regional and Local State Administrations and everybody else showing interest to the health care problems.

Investments in the project amounted to UAH 700 000.
