The Foundation for Development of Ukraine, initiated by MP (Party of Regions) Rinat  Akhmetov, and Pirogovo Ukrainian Folk Architecture and Rural Life Museum of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine intend to cooperate to restore the Museum, says a joint declaration of the Foundation for Development of Ukraine and the Museum of Ukrainian Folk Architecture and Rural Life of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine in Pirogovo Village.

In line with the decision made by the Foundation in autumn 2007, the project will be launched in March 2008. The Foundation for Development of Ukraine has allocated UAH 15m on the joint project.

The list of provisional works includes improving Museum's central entrance (to be carried out on a tender basis), enhancing security system, and improving Museum's internal infrastructure.
