Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation Provides Housing for Nine Large Families
Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine completed Warming a Child with Love project in Donetsk Oblast, having provided nine large families with comfortable housing. Each of these families is bringing up ten and more underage children.
As UNIAN was informed by the Foundation's press office, today the keys of new houses were handed over to two large families from Mariupol. The Punins family has sixteen children, ten of them under 18, and the Sinitsa family has twelve children, ten of them under 18.
The press office reported that: Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation bought new houses for five families and built houses for two families in line with the custom-tailored project. Also, under the project the Foundation allotted money to complete and overhaul the existing housing for two large families. In total, the Foundation has allocated over UAH 9.5m for the project in Donetsk Oblast.
All in all, under the project the Foundation for Development of Ukraine has purchased and overhauled 42 houses for large families with over ten underage children. In the near future, two more houses will be purchased in Luhansk Oblast.
In total, the Foundation has taken care for 44 families in the Crimea, Donetsk, Zakarpatye and Luhansk oblasts. FDU has donated over UAH 17m to purchase new houses, complete and overhaul the existing ones, as was reported by the Foundation's press office.
