Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine (FDU) has presented a new house to the Nagornyuks family from Dzerzhinsk town (Donetsk oblast). The family is bringing up 10 children under 16.

The house was built by the Foundation under Warming a Child with Love project being implemented jointly by the government and businesses. The total area of the house is 270 sqm.  and it cost over UAH 1.5m., says FDU's Press Office.

"The house has a unique design", says Darya Kasyanova, manager of the project . "It was specially developed for the large family to meet all its needs".

As a part of the project the FDU has purchased and overhauled a total of 39 houses for large families, which have over 10 children under 16. Soon, the Foundation will buy and build another five houses.

Altogether, 44 families in the Crimea, Donetsk, Zakarpatye, and Luhansk oblasts are currently cared for by the Foundation. FDU has donated over UAH 17m to purchase new houses, as well as complete and overhaul the existing housings.
