On 21 October, Rinat Akhmetov’s Foundation for Development of Ukraine (FDU) bought the last house of those planned for large families of Zakarpatye. It was passed to the family of Khiminets with 10 underage children and costs UAH 303,500 with the adjacent land.

The house was purchased by the Foundation under Warming a Child with Love project being implemented jointly by the government and businesses. The project targets to improve living conditions of large families with 10 and over underage children. The purchase of the present house is to complete the project in Zakarpatye region, where the FDU bought 11 and repaired 4 houses with the total cost of UAH 370,000.

All in all, the FDU supported 44 families from the Crimea, Donetsk, Zakarpatye and Luhansk oblasts. The projects in the Crimea and Zakarpatye are completed: the families got spacious and cozy housings, while the project in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts is being completed. The Foundation has allocated over UAH 17m to purchase new housing as well as accomplish and overhaul existing ones.
